A
word about DVD media
A
production technology in commercial DVD industry is way different than
the technology the personal computers use to write/burn DVD discs. That
is the reason why commercial movie discs play well on all DVD players,
no matter how good or how old these DVD players are. On the contrary,
computer generated DVDs may have problems, especially when played on
the older players.
A
word about MPEG-4
The
video files for mobile devices may be processed in many different settings.
We format our MPEG-4 files to comply with Apple iPod Video default setting
to achieve a good quality playback from iPod to your TV set via video
cable. We ship the MPEG-4 files on the regular data CD for you to copy
them directly into your iTunes library.
A
word about the picture quality of our Streaming Video Preview
We
are using Google Video sharing program to present our previews or full-length
videos. The video files uploaded to Google are converted to Flash 320x240
streaming video format and therefore loose the quality and resolution
when played on a larger screen. The resolution and quality of the original
DVD as well as MPEG-4 video is outstanding.

Studio Video Production
We create and produce documentaries in close cooperation
with organizations such as Canine Specialized Search Team and
the Institute for Canine Forensics, a Northern California
organization formed for the advancement of research and education of
Human Remains Detection Dog Teams - www.k9forensic.org
Human
Remains Detection (HRD) dogs are taught to discriminate between human
and nonhuman items, alerting on the faint residual scent of human tissue
or bones. HRD dogs do not disturb the crime scene by digging or retrieving
evidence and can search homes or vehicles without destroying the evidence
nor causing damage to property. The dogs usually work slowly and methodically.
Their most common alerts are passive, sitting or lying down when an
item is found.

THE
SPACE SHUTTLE COLUMBIA MEMORIAL
One
year later...
While returning from orbit on Feb. 1, 2003, Space Shuttle Columbia and
all seven STS-107 crew members were lost over north central Texas. Columbia
was returning from a 16-day scientific research mission. This video
is a tribute to the seven dedicated space explorers who died that day
and to NASA DART teams, the specialized search dogs and their handlers
who helped with the recovery process.
